Backstory

Pankaj Kedia is a globally recognized, award-winning AI thought-leader as an early-stage investor, chief AI officer, CXO advisor, adjunct MBA professor, and keynote speaker. Previously, Pankaj played pivotal roles incubating and growing a series of businesses during the Internet, Mobile, and Cloud technology eras across three decades at Intel and Qualcomm.

Pankaj has directly invested in 150+ early-stage AI/Deep Tech startups and 15+ VC funds with investments in 15 unicorns and 13 exits over the last 11 quarters. Pankaj has a knack for spotting trends, was an early believer (and investor) in Nvidia and Bitcoin, and has been an early-stage investor in many of today's high-flying AI start-ups including Anduril, Anthropic, Cerebras, CoreWeave, Deel, Figure AI, Groq, Lambda, Magic, OpenAI, Shield AI, SpaceX, Writer, and You.com. He is a sought-after CXO advisor, consulting with leading names in the professional services, healthcare, financial, enterprise, semiconductor, and technology sectors.

Previously, as a Tech Intrapreneur, Pankaj has been credited for driving the growth of the Internet with laptop PCs, establishing mobile Internet with smartphones, and capitalizing on cloud expansion with IOT and wearable devices at leading companies such as Intel Corp and Qualcomm. Pankaj also led the wireless sector at Intel Capital, comprised of 30 start-ups with $75M invested capital.

Pankaj has been recognized with the Lifetime AI Innovation Award by TiE, inclusion in the CXO Innovators Circle by Bloomberg, and the Global AI150 Hall of Fame by Constellation Research for his contributions as an investor, inventor, and intrapreneur. He holds the early defining patent on low power for mobile devices (#7725748, Low Power Subsystem for Portable Computers)) and, as a lifelong learner, has degrees from Stanford (LEAD Exec Program), Wharton (MBA, AI & Analytics Exec Program), Univ of Michigan (MS, Engineering), and the Indian Institute of Technology (BS, Engineering).
